Entrepreneur Visa: common questions
Is there a minimum investment for Spain's Entrepreneur Visa?
No. The law doesn't set a fixed amount. What matters is that ENISA issues a favorable report on your project — its innovation, your profile and how it's financed.
What does 'innovative' mean?
A product, service or business model with a technological or innovative component, growth potential, and added value for the Spanish economy. Opening a standard shop or restaurant usually doesn't qualify.
How long does it take?
ENISA has 10 working days to issue its report, and the authorities have 20 days to decide. If they don't answer, it's approved.
Is the golden visa still available?
No. Spain's investor (golden) visa was abolished in April 2025. The Entrepreneur Visa is now the main route for founders.
